About Us
The organization SASHAKTIKA came into existence by a group of educated, social Minded, dedicated and enthusiastic youths of different Districts of Bihar in the year 2007 with the aim and objective of integrated development of most neglected, oppressed, downtrodden and disadvantaged section of rural and urban society. These youths were working for the awareness, sensitization and motivation for the most neglected and underprivileged section of rural and urban society with self-interest and self-zeal. After this, it was felt that for the legal identification and rights of the organization SASHAKTIKA, it was necessary to get legal entity of the organization. As a result, the organization SASHAKTIKA got registration under Indian Society Registration Act 21 of 1860 in the year 2008 and the organization SASHAKTIKA legally started to work for the holistic development of targeted communities of rural and urban areas of the society in the pursuance of the aims and objective outlined in the memorandum and articles of the organization SASHAKTIKA.

GOVERNANCE-
SASHAKTIKA is a fully democratic, non-political, secular and non-communal organization. SASHAKTIKA primilarily run by the Executive Committee headed by the secretary. The Executive Committee works as per the decision, guidelines and suggestions of General Body. The meeting of the General Body is held once in a year. The emergency meeting of the General Body is held as per the provisions and rules of the Bye Laws of SASHAKTIKA. The General Body has 26 members represented by a variety of professionals and social sectors who better advise the Executive Committee to work on the aims and objective of the organization. The General Body elects the qualified personalities dedicated to provide quality and intellectuals services to guide the community in progressive directions to be the members of the Executive Committee. The Executive Committee is mainly responsible for the Governance through its elected secretary. The staffs of SASHAKTIKA work in dedicated service providing environment and they are encouraged and capacitated to deliver better and result based performance.
